Liam Jia, EU SME Centre Team Lead, delivered a keynote speech on digital transformation and sustainable development of SMEs at the First Sino-European Green and Innovative Development Conference in Jiangmen, Guangdong province, on Friday 21 April 2023. The conference was jointly hosted by the China Center for Promotion of SME Development, China International Cooperation Association of SMEs and the Jiangmen city government.
Shao Ning, President of China International Cooperation Association of Small and Medium Enterprises; Liu Lihua, Former Vice-minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; and Chen Anming, Party Secretary of Jiangmen Municipal Government gave the opening remarks. More than 500 officials, experts, scholars and senior business executives from China and Europe attended the event. The two-day event including forums, salons, sub-forums exchanges and field visits, offered a channel for in-depth discussions on issues such as green policies and measures for industrial development, green growth, the investment environment for business, high-quality development of the silicon energy industry and international green development cooperation among enterprises from China and Europe.
