On 26 January 2023, the representatives of the EU SME Centre and the Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), thus formally committing to working together and creating synergies. This new partnership agreement signed with a Belgium-based trade promotion organisation will enhance the outreach capacity and value-added activities provided to European SMEs looking to do business in China.
The EU SME Centre is devoted to sharing its knowledge on China-related matters to build the capacity of Belgian companies interested in entering the Chinese market. In this context, the seminar “Get to Know China”, focused on presenting the Chinese market and its specificities to EU SMEs, was jointly organised in Bruges in May 2023. Stay updated on our upcoming activities on our website, newsletter, and social media to take part in our events.
The Centre is looking forward to further cooperating with the Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce and we welcome the opportunity to further support Belgian SMEs’ interests and contribute to the common goal of supporting their growth.
Business support organisations and trade promotion organisations from Member States of the European Union and Single Market Programme-participating countries with member companies interested in the Chinese market are welcome to contact our Partnership Coordinator to obtain further information about partnerships and collaborations. The EU SME Centre offers a wide range of free services to partners and affiliated SMEs to improve their readiness to the market in China. Find out more about becoming a partner of the Centre here.

About the EU SME Centre
Created in 2010, the EU SME Centre is an initiative funded by the European Union to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from EU Member States and countries participating in the Single Market Programme, getting them ready to do business in China.
