Woodn China – Building a Brand in the Chinese Construction Sector

Woodn is an Italian manufacturer of Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) profiles and systems for indoor and outdoor cladding, decking and louvers. In 2001, attracted by the availability of raw materials and the opportunities offered by the local market, the company set up its WFOE, Woodn China, in Guangdong Province.

The initial hurdles in finding local reliable suppliers were eventually resolved by the work of a young and multicultural management team. Now, 10% of the total turnover of Woodn is made in China, and plans are to triple this value in the next two years.
