Talent attraction and retention is a major question small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in China and elsewhere have long had to grapple with. Linked to this are myriad of questions, from salary and career development opportunities to company culture and location. In addition, COVID-19 has exacerbated some of the challenges related to attracting and retaining talent – in particular foreign talent. Thus, it is more important than ever for SMEs to make sure they have a sound HR strategy that takes all of these aspects into consideration.
The EU SME Centre and the European Chamber are pleased to invite you to watch this recording of our Working Group meeting, in which Ms Connie Zhu, Organisation and People Consulting Partner from PwC, provides an overview of some of the major HR trends in China. Following Ms Zhu’s presentation, HR Working Group Chair Jeanette Yu moderates a panel discussion composed by HR experts and representatives of the HR Working Group and Forum based in different regions of China.
