Impacts of China’s 20th National Party Congress on SMEs

The 20^th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC), one of the highest-profile political events in China, opened in Beijing on 16 October. The Party Congress will set the course for China’s economic and political development for the next five years. While President Xi Jinping is widely expected to continue for the third term, the rest is still up for guessing. 

The EU SME Centre and the Italy China Council Foundation are co-organising a webinar to analyse the impacts of the outcomes of the 20^th Party Congress to European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) doing business or planning to do business with China. Will there be changes to the dynamic zero-COVID policy and travelling restrictions? What measures will the government be adopting to revive the economy?
