Money Transfers in China: The Revolution of Cross-border Payment Solutions

23 February 2022

On February 22, the EU SME Centre, EUROCHAMBRES and FinTech Hub LT organised an online workshop with the objective of giving European SMEs some tools for understanding the digital payment procedures, possibilities and challenges.

The workshop gathered around 80 participants from the EU and COSME associated countries, who got insights on how to better understand the landscape of digital transfers to and from the Chinese market. The topic of the webinar was presented by three expert speakers, Felim Meade, Co-owner of Emerald Green Consulting, Justas Valentinavičius, CEO of PanPay Europe and Eglė Juškūnaitė, COO of Seven Seas Europe.

All three speakers shared examples of how to navigate the field of digital payments, as well as how to best adapt a method for your European company, even if you have to do it remotely from outside China.

The session featured a special greeting from the Chairman of the Board of FinTech LT, Titas Budrys, and included a panel discussion as well as a Q&A session where the participants of the workshop got to ask their questions to the speakers.
