The 5th Meeting of Heads of Government of Central & Eastern European Countries and China (16+1)

It is planned that all 16+1 countries will be represented by high-level government officials, including Heads of Government.

Latvia is hosting an international business forum to honour the growing cooperation between China and Central and Eastern Europe. The Business Forum will cover the broad and captivating perspectives of cooperation, paying close attention to various aspects of exciting nature of entrepreneurship in the 21st century.

The importance of cooperation in different sectors on the context of 16+1 initiative will be revealed in 4-panel discussions:

• Trade
• Transport and logistics
• Tourism and lifestyle
• Industrialization and sustainable development

EU SME Centre Expert, Rafael Jimenez will be speaking at the Business Forum within the Meeting as a speaker in a panel discussion dedicated to trade and sharing knowledge on questions regarding E-commerce (trade regulatory issues, information accessibility, organizational readiness, etc.).
