China implements an increasingly strict management and supervision system for chemical substances. Yet, the system is relatively fragmented – with different regulations and inventories existing for different types of chemicals, under the responsibility of different competent authorities. It is very important for EU SMEs to know which registrations they need to deal with, and which points they need to pay particular attention to for exporting their products to China.
This webinar aims to provide an overview of China’s requirements for the import and circulation of different chemicals. In particular, it will provide a detailed overview of the processes of new substance notification and hazardous chemical management, as well as other aspects such as labelling, product compliance and main market actors in China.
