During the week of 22-25 November, the European Commission (Directorate-General for Environment) is organising a Circular Economy Mission to Beijing, which is held back to back with the 2016 China International Circular Economy Exhibition entitled “Innovation Drives the Development of Circular Economy”, organised by the China Association for Circular Economy (CACE). The mission is led by Director General Daniel Calleja from DG ENVIRONMENT and joined by more than 60 European business delegates plus the strong support and participation of business representatives based in China.
The Director of EU SME Centre, Chris Cheung, will deliver a presentation about Doing Business in China at the EU Delegation in Beijing on 22nd Nov. 16:00-18:00.
As the EU and China are progressing rapidly towards circular economy development in various aspects, the forum will offer a good opportunity for policy-makers and business people working in the sector from both sides to present and share their respective insights, experience and prospects for future.
You are cordially invited to attend, RSVP directly to Ms Valentina Izmirova izmirova@ibf.be and Ms Lucia WAY-BRICAULT Lucia.WAY-BRICAULT@eeas.europa.eu with the completed registration form (attached) by 18 November Beijing time.
Please note that the forum is free to attend for confirmed participants. Confirmation emails will be sent by noon on 22 November. Simultaneous interpretation is available, however, participants may need to bring an ID to get the headset when registered on the spot.
