Although it is only ten years since its discovery, graphene has shown a greater potential impact on the industry than other materials. The Nobel Prize Awarding in 2010 even push graphene to become the hottest research topic around the world. Benefiting from the high reserves of the raw materials, strong research capability, active economic environment, and favourable policy supports, China is in the front rank in graphene industry and on the way to achieving a comprehensive industrialisation.
As an ultimate platform for sharing and exchanging experience, GRAPCHINA was successfully held for three years. It has become a significant commercial and academic event that gathers approximately 2000 representatives for all stakeholders involved in the debate, bringing top-level speakers and delegates from the industries, NGOs and academia together with senior policy makers from the EU’s flagship program and national government. The participants will have the great opportunity to meet downstream users, upstream suppliers, equipment providers, policy makers, academics and investors at the same time. They will continue the discussion on commercial solutions and researching trends, recent developments and latest technologies.
GRAPCHINA 2017 is going to take place on September 24-26 2017, in Nanjing City. The conference will be divided into three parallel symposia, focusing on different topics like graphene and 2D materials frontier research, graphene-related emerging industries, graphene application in traditional industries. The symposia cover areas of fundamental research, graphene manufacturing, energy application, health and environment, sensors and communication, composites application, etc.
GRAPCHINA 2017 will also set three special forums, aiming to push international collaboration, accelerate characterization and standardisation method, and promote national graphene industry bases. The topics centre on promising commercial projects, graphene characterization method, graphene standardisation, and local supports for graphene industry bases.
GRAPCHINA is becoming the most important event to provide cooperation and communication opportunities for enterprises, institutes, investors and government, and successfully promote the global graphene industrialisation.
