Data Protection for Small Business: The EU Answers Your Questions

20 June 2023

Are you unsure how to comply with GDPR? Do you process personal data about your staff, consumers, and business partners? Do you want to understand data protection rights?

The European Data Protection Board has published a new Data Protection Guide for Small Business. The guide details what is meant by personal data, shares GDPR principles and good practices, and explains compliance obligations and steps to secure personal data.

In an accessible and easily understandable language, the Guide covers various aspects of the GDPR, from data protection basics, to respecting individuals’ rights and measures to secure personal data. It contains videos, infographics, interactive flowcharts, and other illustrations to help SMEs on their way to become GDPR compliant.

For any question on GDPR and data protection, small businesses can send enquiries to the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) here.
