Call for Speaker: China’s Textile Market for European SMEs

The EU SME Centre, in partnership with the Portuguese Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC), is organising an onsite workshop in Porto (Portugal) that will take place in June 2024. The workshop will explore the current challenges and opportunities for European SMEs active in the textile sector and looking to access the Chinese market.

We are looking for this event for an expert to inform SMEs on the following key topics:

  • Presentation of China’s textile market;
  • Entryways and partner identification;
  • Process of import/export of textile;
  • Certifications and quality control;
  • Negotiations and payment;
  • Case studies.

The length of the presentations and structure of the event can be discussed with the speaker.

Selection criteria
The selection of the speaker will be made according to the relevance of the proposals with regard to the topics outlined. 
This event will be an onsite workshop: the speaker will need to be in Porto for the event.

Please note: this is an informative event. The speaker shall not promote personal or corporate material.
