China’s MIIT Releases Guiding Opinion on Further Promoting the Informatization of Small and Medium Enterprises

China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently released Guiding Opinion on Further Promoting the Informatization of Small and Medium Enterprises, an effort to further support the development of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in China.

This document is to deeply implement the strategic guidelines of the national informatization development and the opinion of the State Council on vigorously promoting the popular entrepreneurship and innovation. 

It will continue to implement the informatization of SMEs, as well as promote and cultivate the entrepreneurship and innovation of Internet and small and micro enterprises during the 13th Five Year Plan. And it will also play the radiating and exemplary role of large informatization service providers; complete the informatization service system of SME; promote the application of information technology of Internet and improve the ability of SME to apply information technology to entrepreneurship and innovation.
