The China Acceleration Programme – in Partnership with Day Day Up

  • Type :Training Programme
  • Date :Apr 16 - May 4, All day, 2018
  • Venue :Beijing
The EU SME Centre, in partnership with Day Day Up, has developed two programmes to enable EU start-ups test their assumptions of the Chinese market.
1. The China Acceleration Programme
A three weeks programme during which participants will visit China’s fastest growing companies (Baidu, Amazon Web Services China, Microsoft China) and will be supported by our experienced China mentors. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend the GMIC Conference set to take place from April 26th to April 28th.
In line with the theme for this year’s GMIC, this year’s programme will be focused on the investment opportunities in Artificial Intelligence in China (AI). China is investing strongly in AI, seeing it as a key component to its shift towards a more innovation-led economy; in 2017 around 9% of the global investment into AI startups were in the AI field and of this over 50% of the dollars going to these startups came from China (CB Insights, 2017). The investment from Chinese Venture Capitalists (VC) into AI businesses is also nearly four times more than the investment carried out by their US counterparts (CKGSB, 2017). With this focus and growth in AI, now is an excellent time for AI businesses from the EU to engage with the market.
Price: EUR  3580
